There are many bible software programs, ranging from free and free-to-try to more expensive choices.

E-sword is a free, multi-featured bible application for computer. Some features include parallel Bible, Strong's concordance and reference library.

YouVersion is a free Bible app for your phone, tablet and/or computer. A major feature of this app is the reading plans available to encourage a regular reading of scripture.

WORDsearch is a desktop, mobile, and cloud program that can be extended to cover your needs. There is a free version, with many free add-on books, and you can also purchase a more advanced version and more books.


The internet has many Bible study sites that can enhance your study of scripture. Each site contains multiple versions of the Bible, lots of reference materials, and many of them have an audio component, where you can listen to a narrator read the scripture.
